Welcome Reception

The Welcome Reception will take place on Sunday, October 13th, in restaurant “MIEJSCE” located in Port Czerniakowski, Zaruskiego Street 1 in Warsaw.

 

Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner will take place on Tuesday, October 15th, in restaurant “UpStairs” located at Konstytucji Square 1 in Warsaw.

 

Amphibious Warsaw - Field Trip

The “Amphibious Warsaw” Field Trip will take place on Wednesday, Oct 16 at 13.30 - 17.30. The trip will feature a guided tour of the Vistula in Warsaw. It will include a walk along the Vistula banks showcasing examples of amphibious architecture of Warsaw and a 1 hour cruise on the Vistula River.

The “Amphibious Warsaw” trip will be guided by Marek Piwowarski, a former director of the Warsaw Parks Department and a manager of the Department of Vistula River Banks Development. He holds a PhD in Landscape Architecture from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW). He is responsible for preparation and deployment of the Vistula River banks revitalization program in years 2007-2019 and for the urban greenery development program in Warsaw.

The trip will be co-guided by Patryk Zaręba, a practicing landscape architect. In 2004 he graduated from the Faculty of Landscape Architecture of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW). From 2005 he is an architect and from 2010 a partner in RS Architektura Krajobrazu. He co-authored many recognized projects such as Warsaw Boulevards, National Stadium, 19th District, Krakowskie Przedmieście and Business Garden Warszawa.
